1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all deliveries made by TE-EDV GmbH (hereinafter: Webshop) to consumers.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor attributable to their independent professional activity.
2. Contractual Partner
The purchase contract is concluded with TE-EDV GmbH, Managing Director: T. Ehrhardt, Schwarzwaldstrasse 21, 79117 Freiburg, Commercial Register: Freiburg HRB 703456.
3. Conclusion of Contract
3.1. The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order.
3.2. By clicking the button "place binding order", you submit a binding order for the items listed on the order page. Immediately after sending your order, you will receive an acknowledgment of receipt (e.g. by e-mail), confirming that your order has been received; this acknowledgment of receipt does not yet constitute an order confirmation. A purchase contract is only concluded when we accept your order by an explicit order confirmation sent via e-mail.
4. Right of Withdrawal
4.1. If you are a consumer (i.e. a natural person who places the order for a purpose that cannot be attributed to your commercial or independent professional activity), you have a statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with legal provisions.
4.2. If you, as a consumer, exercise your right of withdrawal pursuant to Section 4.1, you must bear the regular costs of returning the goods.
4.3. Otherwise, the provisions set out in detail in the following Cancellation Policy apply to the right of withdrawal.
5. Prices and Shipping Costs
5.1. The prices stated on the product pages include statutory value-added tax (VAT) and other price components.
5.2. In addition to the indicated prices, we charge shipping costs. Due to our multi-tiered shipping model, shipping costs vary depending on destination country, shipping method, weight, dimensions, item value, and any applicable customs, tax, or freight surcharges. Therefore, a flat shipping fee cannot be stated in these GTC.
5.3. The shipping costs applicable to your order will be clearly displayed to you in the shopping cart and in the order summary before completing the ordering process.
5.4. Any import duties, customs fees, or other charges incurred for cross-border deliveries shall be borne by the customer, unless expressly stated otherwise. We reserve the right to use different shipping partners, minimum delivery times, or additional fees for certain countries, shipping methods, or product categories; relevant notices will be provided on the product page or during the checkout process.
6. Delivery
6.1. Delivery is made to the delivery countries specified by us in the shop. Our current shipping service providers, shipping methods, and country-specific shipping terms are listed on the page Shipping Costs.
6.2. The specified delivery times apply to the destination country and chosen shipping method; estimated delivery times are shown on the respective product page, in the shopping cart, and in the order summary. Longer delivery times may apply for international shipments, bulky goods, individually configured systems, or delays due to customs/import formalities.
7. Payment
7.1. Payment shall be made in advance (bank transfer).
7.2. We will provide you with our bank details in the order confirmation and deliver the goods after receipt of payment.
8. Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.
9. Warranty for Defects
9.1. TE-EDV GmbH is liable for defects of quality in accordance with applicable statutory provisions, in particular §§ 434 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB).
9.2. An additional warranty only exists for goods delivered by TE-EDV GmbH if this was expressly stated in the order confirmation for the respective item.
10. Dispute Resolution
We are willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board to resolve disputes with consumers. The competent consumer arbitration board is: Universalschlichtungsstelle des Bundes Zentrum für Schlichtung e.V., Straßburger Straße 8, 77694 Kehl am Rhein, www.universalschlichtungsstelle.de. In order to settle mentioned disputes, we will participate in a dispute resolution procedure before this body.
